Get ready to unleash your power and compete for the title of Longest Drive Champion at Moore Park Golf! We’re thrilled to invite you to our highly anticipated Longest Drive Championship, powered by TaylorMade, where you’ll have the chance to showcase your skills and go head-to-head for a place in the Grand Final.
Entry is FREE to any of the qualifying rounds where you will get hands-on with TaylorMade’s brand new driver.
The Top 8 Men and Top 8 women will then progress to the Grand Final on March 1st where the 2025 Moore Park Golf Longest Drive champion will be crowned.
- To enter, simply attend one of the qualifying rounds (no pre-registration required) and hit as far as you can using the TaylorMade’s brand new Qi35 driver.
Qualifying Rounds
Bays 1-3 on the Driving Range
– Thursday 6th February (6pm – 9pm)
– Saturday 8th February (10am – 1pm)
– Thursday 13th February (6pm – 9pm)
– Saturday 15th February (10am – 1pm)
– Thursday 20th February (6pm – 9pm)
– Saturday 22nd February (10am – 1pm)
- Open to amateurs only
- Must use a TaylorMade Driver (fitted by our expert rep on the day)
- Maximum of 1 entry per qualifying session (enter multiple qualifying sessions if you wish)
- Each entrant gets 3 drives per session
- Longest drive across all qualifying sessions will count towards your final ranking
- Top 8 ranked men and top 8 ranked women will move on to the Grand Final
- If a Top 8 finalist is unavailable, the next in line (e.g., 9th place) will take their spot
- All Top 8 finalists will be contacted on Sunday, 23rd February, to confirm attendance at the Final
Final – On the 1st Tee
Saturday, 1st March
The Grand Final will feature a knockout competition between the top 8 men and top 8 women. Here’s how it will work:
- Each finalist will compete using a TaylorMade Driver (fitted by our expert rep)
- The Championship will follow a knockout format:
Quarter Finals – 1st place vs 8th place, 2nd vs 7th, 3rd vs 6th, 4th vs 5th
Semi Finals
Grand Final - Each quarter-finalist and semi-finalist will get 5 drives per match with a 2.5 minute shot clock to complete all drives
- The Grand Final will feature 7 drives with a 3.5 minute shot clock to complete all drives
- A shot-clock will be in place for finalists:
- Highest seed in each match will decide hitting order
Prizes
- Grand Final Winner: A custom-fitted TaylorMade 2025 Qi35 driver
- Grand Final Runner-up: A gift voucher for a round of golf for themselves and 3 friends, complete with 2 carts
