Moore Park Golf is open to golfers of all skills and abilities, and we are here to help you get your game to where you want it! Mixed beginner - level 1

This series focuses on the full swing, short game, and the important rules of golf. It aims to get you into the sport at a recreational level.

The objective of the beginner level 1 program is to develop key swing techniques and introduce you to all areas of the game, from full swing through to short game. You will learn the basics about golf equipment and their uses, rules, and course etiquette. This should give you the confidence you need to walk onto the 1st tee.

Each lesson runs for 60 minutes.

Mixed beginner - level 2

The beginner level 2 program is the natural progression from Level 1, or the starting point for an intermediate golfer with some prior playing experience.

This program focuses on further development of all areas of the game with the incorporation of video analysis and skills testing. By the end of this program, you will gain the expertise and knowledge required to pursue enjoyable recreational or competitive golf.

Women's beginner - level 1

This program is designed to grow the long-term participation of women in the game of golf by facilitating the move for beginners in a safe, friendly and inclusive environment.

Our Level 1 series teaches key golf-swing fundamentals and techniques along with the basic necessities about how golf shops and clubs operate by coming into the pro shop at Moore Park. While being introduced to all areas of the game, from the full swing through to the short game, you will also learn the functionality of each club in the golf bag.
The lessons will be at the driving range, as well as the chipping and putting green.

This program is taught by our PGA professionals Bobby Walia and Ollie Neave and is the perfect introduction to the game of golf.

Each lesson will run for 90 minutes.

Women's beginner - level 2

Our Level 2 series is designed to further refine the skills and techniques learnt in the Beginner Level 1 program on the driving range and short game facilities while also placing an emphasis on introducing you to the golf course. During your time on the course you will learn about golf rules, etiquette, scoring and game management which will give you the confidence needed to walk onto the 1st tee.

This program is taught by our PGA professionals Bobby Walia and Ollie Neave and is the ideal pathway between our Women’s Level 1 and Intermediate programs.

You will learn the basic necessities about how golf shops and clubs operate while being taught the functionality of each club in the golf bag.

This program is taught by our PGA professional Skye.

Women's Intermediate Clinics

The intermediate classes are a great mix for ladies who have been improving their golf with us through our beginner classes, private lessons, or from different golf clubs around the area.

Every 10 weeks, with consultation of the participants, we create a new program which will run over the upcoming weeks. We try to cover any common problems, troublesome shots encountered on the course, or general swing improvements. The program is designed to lower your scores and help you enjoy your golf even more!

The same subject will be taught in both classes each week giving you the flexibility to book on any day knowing you won’t miss that lesson subject.

This class is taught by our PGA professionals Bobby Walia & Skye Choueiri.

Women's on course clinic

This weekly clinic is designed for women who are ready to take the skills they have learnt from our beginner and intermediate classes onto the golf course, in a fun & friendly environment.

Short Game Masterclass

Lower scoring is all about getting the ball into the hole. Our comprehensive short game masterclass is the perfect option for immediate improvements and handicap reduction.

This program is suited for all levels of playing ability and is designed to increase confidence around the green. You’ll be chipping, pitching, bump and running and putting like a pro in no time!

Biomechanics Body Screening

Are you struggling with your golf swing, facing inconsistent shots, or dealing with injuries like golf elbow and shoulder pain?

Most golfers unknowingly practice with poor form, leading to these common issues. Our biomechanics class is designed to change that by teaching you the proper mechanics of a golf swing. This class will help you understand the proper mechanics of a golf swing. You’ll learn through screening for mobility and flexibility, how to understand and control the club, and upgrade your speed and power by balancing acceleration and deceleration.

Over 6 consecutive weeks, for one hour each week, our golf biomechanics approach will target fundamental issues, eliminating bad habits and compensatory reactions that cause performance inconsistencies and potential injuries.

Key areas covered

  1. Efficient Body Control – correct poor posture, hip sway, sliding, and other common issues.
  2. Club Design and Control – learn proper ball position, club setup, and swing plane.
  3. Momentum Control – unlock your power with proper acceleration and deceleration techniques.
  4. Pre-Shot Routine – develop a solid routine, including practice swings and rhythm control.
